TT Show (TV show proposal)

Dear Sir / Madam,

We are pleased to write you in order to put under your consideration our new project, entitled “TT Show”. It has been developed taking into account teenager’s needs and interests.

The format of the show is based on a contest. The contestants will be casted several times according to their skills in different artistic categories. The prize will consist in a full scholarship to the best institution for artists. The assessment will be carried out by famous teenagers. The participants chosen by the jury will be exposed to the decision of the audience, who will cast their vote via mobile phones.

We are convinced that the combination of a stimulating competition for young people and the participation of the audience as a central figure in the destiny of the contestants will appeal to teenagers. “T.T Show” is a solid project which can be attractive for teenagers and young adults who want to express themselves artistically. We, as a group of young producers, see the necessity in the Argentinean television network to have an space to share our young people‘s artistic abilities. Therefore, we consider the best way for that to happen is by carrying T.T Show out.

With the purpose of providing you with detailed information about this project, we would like to have the opportunity to arrange a meeting.

Music factor (TV show proposal)

Dear Sir or Madam,

Our names are Andrea Olazabal, Pilar Granda and Adriana Astrada. We work as English Teachers in public secondary schools. We think that nowadays there is not a TV programme which makes young adults feel identify with, so we want to propose you a project of a TV show related to teenagers´ interests.

The idea we have in mind is about a TV quiz show in which ten adolescents have to answer questions concerned with music. The show could be called `Music Factor´. The questions will be asked by a TV presenter and they will be about: the albums, the singers, musicians, specific dates, details and some other important information about the bands. In several cases the young adults will listen to a song or look at a picture in order to answer the questions.

The competition will have three series of twenty questions each. Teenagers will be evaluated by three judges and after each sequence, they will tell the participants the results of their answers. By the end of the last series, there will be nine loosers and a winner, who will be the one that will get the majority of right answers.

A good prize could be spending a day with his/her favourite music band and being a special guest in their concert in Argentina.

Life itself (TV show proposal)

Dear Sir,

It would be a pleasure for our company that you may consider our new project called “Life itself” directed to adolescents and based on real life facts.

The project deals with everyday situations that teenagers face in their lives in Argentina. For example: adictions associated to alcohol and drugs, violence,  teenage pregnancy, eating disorders, among others.

The cast was properly selected by our qualified staff of acting professionals. The chosen actors will perform the roles of adolescents that belong from different social contexts.

We consider this serie is appealing to teenage viewers since each episode will show different situations in which they may feel identified and after watching it, they will be able to reflect upon their own experiences.

We expect the tv programme to be broadcasted five days per week, from six pm to seven pm because of the high porcentage of audience at that time. What is more, there will be  special editions supported by proffesionals that will deal with the topics exposed on previous episodes.

TV series with famous people (TV show proposal)

Dear director:

I am Diana Jones and I am interested in sending you some ideas for the new television program you are looking for, as the advertisement on TV shows.

I am a teenager’s mother. My son, Tom, is fourteen years old, so I know how difficult it is for adolescents to get engaged with the different subjects at school. Having this in mind, my idea is that you make a TV show in which the different topics that students study at school, could be taught in a TV series characterized by famous people.  The plot could be about a group of teenagers, which are friends, who go to the same school and every time they need extra help in their homework, they look for it in relatives. Each relative provides the specific help students need according to the field he or she is specialized on. Imagine Lionel Messi as a regular football player teaching his causing and his friends how muscles work.

I hope you like my idea. Teaching through television will engage adolescents in their studies and it will increase their interests on different school topics.

Running away (TV show proposal)

Dear Sir,

My name is Ricardo Ruben. I am a psychologist and a writer. Since I admire your work as the President of the most important network, I have decided to write this letter in order to recommend you a musical fiction oriented to young adults.

I have been thinking about retelling the story of a group of homeless children who form a rock band which helps them to run away from drugs, alcohol, stealing and violence. The band would have ten members and each of them would tell a different and problematic life-story. These ten members would be between thirteen and eighteen years old.

The name of the programme and of the band would be “Running away”.

The last thing I would like to mention is the fact that during the course of the television series, a famous producer will discover and help the children to make their dream comes true.
